Is your Love Unconditional?

So I hear how have you made it 22 years with your hubby? Why do you still look so happy? Well we have been married 18 years and counting, been together 22 or so years, and known each other for 36 years! That's a long time could that be what it is?! I don't believe that is what has kept us together! Is it the fact that we have four amazing sons, oh no, if anything that has challenged us to grow even more uncomfortable! Doesn't it you? What I think has done it for us and we are still babies.... So check back in another 20 years and see what you think.......

I read this today (I'm a big reader)......

“When love is unconditional, there’s no attachment, expectation, hidden agenda, or bookkeeping of who gives what to whom. Our love is unconditional for whatever we are and whatever they are. It challenged me to think deeper and feel deeper. It made me realize that love isn't an emotion (I remember a brilliant man share this with me). I realized that keeping our emotions between the lines - keeping them in check when they want to go wild right! It is what makes your willingness to stay committed make sense. Then you take that another step further right....God knows all and He is so right on with this one! What an affirmation. 

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV

So true and when you are these this is what allows for you to let go of those moments that hurt, those times when you want to say "for get it" "they aren't worth it" .... because I'm worth more. Not to say you aren't an yet when you set "you" aside and love all others unconditionally then the world just makes a little more sense.

May I just be one step close to unconditional love, that is my prayer for today!

Here’s how to get the most bang for your buck. 

Forget about remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, a new front door or the addition of manufactured stone-veneer siding have much higher returns on investment, according to Remodeling magazine’s 2016 Cost vs. Value report.

The survey showed that the average ROI nationwide for 27 projects included in this year’s report was 64.4% up from 62% in 2015.  So, for every $100 spent, you will recoup an average $64.40.

Costs and values vary by region based on the job and housing markets.  For example, in San Francisco, where housing is in short supply, the ROI was more than 100% for every project.

In Los Angeles and Orange counties, manufactured stone veneer siding and upscale garage door replacement showed the highest ROI of 127.5% and 114.6% respectively. They were followed by attic insulation at 113.6%, midrange, entry-door replacement at 111.4% and minor kitchen remodel at 108%.

Keep it sleek! 

Projects in the region with the worst ROI were, from the bottom up: deck addition, 59.2%; upscale bathroom addition, 65.9%; midrange bathroom addition,66.5%; backup power generator, 69.4%, and upscale bathroom remodel, 70.4%

Many of the highest-scoring projects were on the home’s exterior reinforcing the value of projects that promote curb appeal.
